Turns out, in classic Android style, closing a network connection does not close the connection!
Android thinks it's so clever to keep that network connection open and hanging around. But this is bad because you don't want your sync connections lingering.
This version ensures the connections are closed. Lexiy makes a new connection every time to sync, syncs the data, then closes.
That's how it should work.
