Some will be. Pretty soon, I'll be releasing a utility open source that can encode/decode Lexiy databases. This will be open source. It will let people look at how the encryption is implemented.
You can export the database from the app now. You can look at the records, which will be encrypted (unless you've switched that off). The utility will encode/decode these databases.
It means you'll be able to export your data and take it away. I'd never use a system that didn't let me take my data away, so i wouldn't expect anyone else to.
